Swarovski Elements Crystal Bicone beads are the most popular bead style in the Swarovski line, and with good reason. These shimmering beads come in the widest range of colors and effects many versatile sizes. Most of our inventory of 5301 style Crystal Bicone beads in 4mm to 8mm sizes are now available with the brilliant XILION cut. This cut increases the number of reflective surfaces on the bicone shape without changing the profile or dimensions of the bead.

To create crystal glass that lets light refract in a rainbow spectrum, Swarovski coats some of its products with special metallic chemical coatings. Aurora Borealis, or "AB", is one of the most popular coatings, and gives the surface a rainbow appearance. Other coatings are named by the company, Crystal Transmission, Volcano, Aurum, and Dorado. Coatings may be applied to only part of an object; others are coated twice, and thus are designated AB 2X, Dorado 2X etc.
